We are recruiting:

General Operatives – Production, Crisping House (Crisp Factory).
Please note full training with be provided.
The roles involve working on the production line, quality control of product, packing and loading product for distribution etc. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.

Key Areas Of The Role:

Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bagging product and setting up machines.
Rejecting out-of-specification product.
Ensuring conformance to specifications.
Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
General Factory duties.

Working Hours:  Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days).

Essential Requirements:

Manual work experience.
Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
Good team work skills.
Good Communication Skills.
Your own transport is required as Keogh’s Crisps are not on a public bus route. No access to public bus or train route.

Purpose Of The Role

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative – Product Inspection role for our Potato Pack House, Westpalstown, Oldtown, Co. Dublin. The role involves working on the production line, inspecting and checking the quality of our products, in line with company standards. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail with full concentration at all times.

Reporting To:   Pack House Manager and Inspection Supervisor

Key Areas Of The Role

Working on the Potato inspection line, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast pace environment.
Rejecting out-of-specification product.
Ensuring conformance to specifications.
Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
Following all Health & Safety procedures and adhering to the company’s Safety Statement at all times; identifying any risks/hazards or faulty equipment and reporting them to the Pack House Managers.
Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
Sweeping, mopping, and removing debris from the production facility as required.
General Pack House duties.

Essential Requirements

Flexibility to work different overtime and bank holidays.
Manual work experience.
Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
Good team work skills.
Good understanding of the English laThe nguage.
Excellent work ethic.

Keogh’s Crisps – Territory Manager (Dublin, Kildare & Wicklow Region) - Temporary 6 Month Contract

Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, the Territory Manager’s role will be to drive sales and support the on-going growth and development of Keogh’s products through merchandising, maximisation of in-store space, generating product awareness, new product launches, implementing promotions, identifying new leads and channels initially within the Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow Regions. You will represent the brand in a positive and professional manner, must be career focused and show attributes of leadership, high organisational skills and a determination to be the very best.

 

Key Areas Of The Role:

  • Visit retail customers to generate orders, drive distribution, drive visibility and display, activate promotions, conduct retail audits, ensuring range implementation and planogram compliance.
  • Utilising WASP to capture market data.
  • Work closely with and review a call file and plan an efficient journey plan.
  • Ensure stock is rotated effectively and that high attention to detail is implemented across all stores in order to achieve distribution and visibility targets.
  • Setting and achievement of merchandising standards.
  • Ensuring the successful launch of N.P.D. into the market.
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects through targeted cold calling with a view to arranging meetings with potential customers.
  • Managing seasonal activities and promotional activations.
  • Development of key trade relationships at store, regional and group level.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ Sales and Merchandising experience within FMCG across all trade channels (preferably in the food industry).
  • Recent qualification in business, marketing, or other related field desirable.
  • Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail point of sale software.
  • Monitor and reporting of key account performance, case sale volume, rate of sale, promotional mix, risk, cost, retail and profit analysis.
  • Ability to prioritise high impact activities and multi-task complex projects and deliver results.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Evidence of tenacity and the ability to follow through on commitment.
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours and national travel is a requirement.
  • Exposure to developing relationship with clients and creating new business.
  • Full, valid, clean B category driver’s licence essential.

Purpose Of The Role:

The Order Processing & Logistics Administrator is a vital part of the supply chain process and is responsible for the order capture, planning, coordinating, administration, monitoring and distribution of Keogh’s Crisps.  You will facilitate the smooth running of the department with your excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

 

Key Areas Of The Role:

  • Processing, planning, coordinating and monitoring the order process and timely dispatch of goods, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Regular updating of customer information/products/pricing/promotions onto Diomac (ERP system)
  • Responding efficiently to customer product and sales queries
  • Processing of invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
  • Close liaison with the Sales team, Operation Manager & Crisp Production, Manager, Warehouse & Dispatch operatives. Finance Department and Customers regarding deliveries/orders/stock & other issues.
  • Planning vehicle routes & liaising with haulage companies and our own drivers, troubleshooting of any delivery issues that may arise.
  • Assuring that all correct paperwork is completed and supplied with all transactions and ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office, Diomac, Retail Exchange, WASP, eOrder and Customer/Supplier portals
  • Logging and follow-through of any non-conformance issues
  • Provision of administrative support to the Sales Managers and Sales team.
  • Ad-hoc office duties, data entry, reporting, scanning & filing

 

Essential Requirements

  • Third level qualification desirable.
  • 2 to 3 years order processing / general administration experience within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong Customer Service attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • Strong computer skills with excellent experience of Microsoft Office, experience of using sales databases such as WASP/CRM for report writing purposes.
  • Self-starter with the capability to show drive, resilience, and ability to take initiative in a demanding environment.
  • Diligent individual, taking ownership of all duties of the role from start to completion.
  • Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Possess ability to handle pressure and deal with conflicting priorities.
  • An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Full, valid, clean B category driver’s licence essential.

A Flavour Of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Brand Planning: Develop & implement brand strategy for Keogh’s Crisps.
  • Brand Strategy: Work collaboratively with the Marketing team, Territory & Sales Managers to develop and implement brand strategy, ensuring consistency and clarity of message across all elements of the brand plan.
  • Digital Marketing: Responsible for the growth of the business through the execution of the Company’s strategic digital marketing plan, both at home and various overseas territories. To develop the Company brand with creativity, innovation and drive ecommerce sales. Manage the Keoghs website and lead on the development and curation of web growth including, CMS and SEO.
  • Digital Campaign Management: Managing and developing online content plan for multiple social and digital channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and You tube for specific campaigns. Managing and monitoring KPI’s for digital performance and liaising with the digital agency to best optimize performance and digital spend.
  • Customer Excellence: Plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks to ensure customer experience excellence. Manage our online customer community and social media interactions.
  • NPD: Be a key member of the Product Innovation Team, supporting the delivery of existing projects, and shaping future ones.
    Budget Management: Planning and Evaluating spend to ensure Campaigns and Projects are delivered on budget.

  • Experience planning, managing and executing Brand Marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with digital marketing, including social media management and influencer marketing.
  • Proven data analysis & interpreting EPOS data experience (e.g. Talysis, Nielsen, Dunnhumby, EYC etc.)
  • Export Marketing (e.g. USA) experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience managing web and digital agencies is an advantage.
