The Role:

You will be working in our Crisping House producing our award winning crisps. You will work on the production line, monitoring the quality control of products, packing and loading product for distribution. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail with full concentration at all times.

Key Areas Of The Role:

  • Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
  • Measuring, grading and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery.
  • Starting, operating, tending, stopping, and cleaning machines as well as assembling the finished product for storage.
  • Loading and unloading items from machines, boxes, production lines, pallets etc.
  • Rejecting out-of-specification product.
  • Packing finished stock into boxes and labelling accordingly.
  • Ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Complete product checks and record data.
  • Reporting equipment faults / product issues to the Production Manager / Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Liaising and assisting the Warehouse & Dispatch Operatives in relation to the storing of goods and raw materials in the factory and / or warehouse.
  • Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and forklift trucks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Manual work experience.

Own transport is essential, as there is no public transport available in the area.

  • Good team work skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends and bank holidays as the business requires.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for a General Operatives – Production and Machine Operatives for our NEW Potato Pack House, Westpalstown, Oldtown, Co. Dublin. The roles involve general duties working on the machines, the production lines, checking the quality of our products in line with company standards. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail with full concentration at all times.

REPORTING TO: Pack House Manager and Pack House Supervisor

KEY AREAS OF THE ROLE

  • Working on the Potato production line, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Bagging product and setting up machines.
  • Rejecting out-of-specification product.
  • Ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Reporting and addressing  product quality and safety issues.
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and adhering to the company’s Safety Statement at all times; identifying any risks/hazards or faulty equipment and reporting them to the Pack House Managers.
  • Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
  • General Pack House duties.

Essential Requirements

  • Forklift driving experience would be an advantage (not essential).
  • Manual work experience.
  • Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
  • Good team work skills.
  • Good understanding of the English language.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work different overtime and bank holidays as the business dictates.

Keogh's Crisps - Warehouse & Dispatch Operative

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Warehouse & Dispatch Operative role is a vital part of our supply chain process and is responsible for the planning, coordinating, administration, monitoring, order assembly and dispatch of goods in the production factory and warehouse. To achieve this you will manage processes and systems both manual and automated.

Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail with full concentration at all times.

They ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.

 

KEY AREAS OF THE ROLE

  • Planning future capacity requirements.
  • Briefing team leaders on a daily basis.
  • Receiving orders, checking live-stock quantities and processing orders.
  • Co-ordinating the use of manual and computerised systems where utilised.
  • Producing regular stock take reports and statistics on a monthly basis.
  • Stocking the warehouse from the Crisping House production floor.
  • Pulling finished goods from each storage location with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Picking & checking orders.
  • Transport of goods between on-site warehouses in a forklift or pallet truck.
  • Loading customer’s orders onto trucks, vans etc.
  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.

Keogh’s Farm are searching for an experienced marketeer to join their growing team of Brand Storytellers on the Family Farm in North County Dublin.

 The ideal candidate will have experience rooted in FMCG Brand Marketing, and a passion for Breaking New Ground with imaginative and actionable marketing initiatives.

A Flavour of what you’ll be doing:

  • Assist and lead key Campaigns in the Keogh’s marketing calendar, with activity both above and below the line.
  • Liaising with designers and printers for various promotional items.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures.
  • Assist and develop targeted marketing campaigns and media strategies aimed at promoting the brand and products of Keogh’s Crisps Ltd.
  • Produce regular marketing reports as requested by the Marketing Manager.
  • Coordination of all our social media platforms to increase followers and connections – developing content, posting, monitoring etc.
  • Conducting website updates.
  • Be a key member of the Product Innovation Team, supporting the delivery of existing projects, and shaping future ones.
  • Manage key events and product launches (Insight, Plans, Props, Social Media etc).
  • Support in the analysis of Retailer, Consumer, and Shopper Data to evaluate the performance of Marketing Campaigns and NPD initiatives.
  • Supporting the Customer Service Administrative Function.
  • General administrative duties as they arise.

 Our Ideal Candidate:

Requirements:

  • 2 years Marketing experience preferably within the FMCG Industry.
  • Excellent Organisational and Time-Management skills.
  • Strengths in Communication and Collaboration.
  • Balance of Creative Flair and Commercial Acumen.
  • Resourcefulness (can turn their hand to anything).
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail.
  • Strong IT Capability.
  • Proven understanding of managing all Social Media Platforms including knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Must hold a full valid driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
