Purpose Of The Role:

Working closely with the Production Manager and Quality Assurance Manager, the Supervisor ensures that all products and processes are managed and completed in compliance with specifications, legal and statutory obligations, customer requirements and highest quality standards throughout the product life cycle.  The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervision of employees where strong leadership skills are required for the effective supervision of the team.

Reporting To:

  • Production Manager

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and prioritise production activities to meet the demands of the business.
  • Work cross functionally with all factory teams in terms of planning and ensuring that all products are of the highest standard.
  • Ensure production safety and quality standards are accomplished.
  • Taking an active part in day-to-day problem solving on the process and in more focused process improvement projects.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that the production facility meets food safety requirements and to ensure that best manufacturing practises (BMP) meet and exceed customer and Health Service Executive standards.
  • Monitor production and product standards. Conform to the company HACCP plan.  Respond effectively and efficiently to all non-conformances with appropriate preventive and corrective actions.
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and adhering to the company’s Safety Statement at all times; identifying any risks/hazards or faulty equipment and reporting them to the Production Manager / Quality Assurance Manager immediately.
  • Provide the production team with leadership, direction, training and coaching to achieve work objectives and to improve performance and skills.
  • Being a leader in the Continuous Improvement ambitions of the business and encouraging this continuous improvement culture with the team.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed to meet the business requirements.
  • Protect all intellectual property, information and technology surrounding confidential processes and products.

Skills/ Attributes/ Experience:

  • Leaving Cert qualification or related on the job experience.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Self-starter with the capability to show drive and resilience to take initiative in a demanding environment.
  • Must have good people leadership, management and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate all employees.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with strong attention to detail.
  • Team-player with cross functional collaboration.

Keogh’s Farm are searching for an experienced Brand Manager to join their growing team of Brand Storytellers on the Family Farm in North County Dublin.  Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience rooted in Brand Marketing, a passion for Breaking New Ground with imaginative and actionable Marketing initiatives.

A Flavour of what you’ll be doing:

Brand Planning: Develop & implement brand strategy for Keogh’s Crisps & Popcorn. Manage multiple agencies including: Advertising, Media, PR, Research, Activation, Design and Sales Promotions.

Brand Strategy: Work collaboratively with the Marketing team, Territory & Sales Managers to develop and implement brand strategy, ensuring consistency and clarity of message across all elements of the brand plan.

Campaign Management: Lead the development and co-ordination of key Campaigns in the Keogh’s marketing calendar, with activity both above and below the line. Managing and developing online content plan for multiple social and digital channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and You tube for specific campaigns.    Managing and monitoring KPIS for digital performance and liaising with the media agency to best optimize performance and digital spend.

Shopper Marketing: Lead the development and co-ordination of below-the-line campaigns for in-store shopper marketing activations and Commercial Innovations. Organising product launches and promotional events. Responsible for trade communication strategy to ensure strong visibility and greater awareness.

Category & Insights: Monitoring the performance of a brand through key performance indicators (KPI). Analysing brands of competitors, consumer trends, shopping behaviours.  Support in the analysis of Retailer, Consumer, and Shopper Data to evaluate the performance of Marketing Campaigns and NPD initiatives.

NPD: Manage New Product Development & product renovation projects. Lead product packaging design projects from creative agency briefing to printing final artwork.

Management: Planning and Evaluating spend to ensure Campaigns and Projects are delivered on budget. Mentor and guide Assistant Brand Manager.

Customer Excellence: Plan, prioritise and delegate work tasks to ensure customer experience excellence. Manage our online customer community and social media interactions. Work with our customer care team to develop a customer service strategy.

 

Our Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Core Skills:

  • Excellent Organisational and Time-Management skills.
  • Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, including influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Balance of Creative Flair and Commercial Acumen.
  • Resourcefulness (can turn their hand to anything).
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Attention to Detail.
  • Ability to objectively judge creative (Excellent copywriting skills & a strong eye for design).
  • Excellent Presentation Skills.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of Brand Marketing experience.
  • Strong people management skills with proven ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Experience planning and executing Brand Marketing campaigns through the line is required.
  • Product Innovation and the ‘Go to Market’ process from idea to execution.
  • Proven data analysis & interpreting EPOS data experience (e.g. Talysis, Nielsen, Dunnhumby, EYC etc.)
  • Experience with digital marketing, including social media management and influencer marketing.
  • Exposure to E-Commerce is desirable.
  • Export Marketing (e.g. USA) experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience managing PR and Media agencies.

Important Requirements:

  • Must hold a full valid driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
  • As member of the Marketing Team, you must demonstrate a passion and ability to grow and develop with the requirements of the role.

PKS Farms - Machine Operator - Potato Pack House

REPORTING TO: Pack House Manager

 

KEY AREAS OF THE ROLE

  • To operate machinery in line with set guidelines and instructions.
  • To load the bagged product for dispatch.
  • To liaise with other members of staff at various stages of production.
  • To maintain health & safety standards at all times.
  • Cleaning duties.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility to work different overtime and bank holidays.
  • Manual work experience, as this role involves manual work and machine operation.
  • Own transport is required, as Keogh’s is not on a regular public transport route.
  • Excellent team work skills.
  • Good understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Keogh's Crisps - Production General Operative - Crisping House

We are recruiting:

  • General Operatives – Production, Crisping House (Crisp Factory).
  • Please note full training with be provided.

The roles involve working on the production line, quality control of product, packing and loading product for distribution etc. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.

 

Key Areas of The Role:

  • Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Setting up machines and bagging product.
  • Rejecting out-of-specification product.
  • Ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
  • Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
  • Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
  • Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
  • General Factory duties.

 

Working Hours:

  • Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days).

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Manual work experience.
  • Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
  • Good team work skills.
  • Good Communication Skills.
