We are recruiting:

General Operatives – Production, Crisping House (Crisp Factory).
Please note full training with be provided.
The roles involve working on the production line, quality control of product, packing and loading product for distribution etc. Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail.

Key Areas Of The Role:

Working on the production lines, you must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bagging product and setting up machines.
Rejecting out-of-specification product.
Ensuring conformance to specifications.
Reporting and addressing issues of quality and safety.
Adhering to HACCP and Health and safety practices at all times.
Ensuring the workstation is kept in excellent order with regards to housekeeping.
Using lifting equipment, pallet trucks and/ forklift trucks (not all roles).
General Factory duties.

Working Hours:  Crisps are rostered for 3 days on 4 days off (Full-time hours over 3 days).

Essential Requirements:

Manual work experience.
Own transport as no public transport available in the area.
Good team work skills.
Good Communication Skills.
Your own transport is required as Keogh’s Crisps are not on a public bus route. No access to public bus or train route.

Keogh's Crisps - Export Sales and Business Development Manager

Purpose of The Job:

Keogh’s are looking for an established Export Sales and Business Development Manager with experience managing multiple customers with a FMCG background to join their Export Sales Team. Reporting to the Export Sales Manager the candidate will have experience working with multiples and food-service companies. Initially the role will entail managing existing customers within the UK, Europe and Travel retail and targeting opportunities with new customers. We are looking for someone who has the ability to juggle multiple accounts, whilst maintaining strong relationships and prioritising Business needs.

 

The Export Sales and Business Development Manager will be based in Ireland but will involve substantial travel abroad.

Key Areas of The Role:

  • As Export Sales and Business Development Manager you will work collaboratively with the business to convert our Sales strategy by securing and on-boarding new customers to deliver incremental growth.
  • Accountable for driving and delivering sales and margin targets.
  • Will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, food-service wholesalers & travel retail buyers.
  • Assist in creation and implementation of UK sales strategy.
  • Reporting and analysing promotional and category data to identify opportunities in the marketplace.
  • Forecasting, working closely with operations team to ensure optimal order fulfilment rates.
  • Attending industry trade shows where necessary to drive new Business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5 + years of experience in a similar role.
  • Business Degree desirable.
  • Experience within the United Kingdom and Europe essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, including proven experience of successful negotiation and influencing skills with experience of building collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Sales / buyer professional with proven experience of managing FMCG key accounts in the food industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and delivering KPIs.
  • Commercially savvy with excellent numerical and analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Structured and organised but comfortable working with ambiguity in an evolving, growing department.
  • Driven with a proactive approach to finding creative solutions and problem solving.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to compile strong, creative pitch deck.
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity with a high degree of transparency and trust.
  • Strong computer skills, including preparation and issue of reports from spread sheets, databases, CRM and presentation software.
  • Flexibility with regard to working hours is essential.
