Kerr’s Pink – Keogh’s perfect steamed potatoes


  • In a pot with a steamer section put a couple of centimeters of boiling water. Fill the steamer part with the potatoes and cover with a lid.
  • Bring to the boil and when the steam starts to escape from the lid, reduce the heat to medium and steam for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a sharp knife. Larger potatoes might take a little longer. Keep an eye on the water and top up if necessary.
  • Serve dotted with butter and a sprinkling of salt.
