Purpose of the Role

We are currently recruiting General Operatives / Machine Operatives to join our Potato Pack House team in Westpalstown, Oldtown, Co. Dublin.

This is a hands-on role within our busy fresh potato packing operation. You will work as part of the Pack House team across areas including production, machine operation, packing, loading and dispatch.

Reporting to: Pack House Manager

Key Areas of the Role

  • Operate Pack House machinery in line with set procedures and instructions.
  • Pack, handle and load finished products for dispatch.
  • Work closely with team members across different stages of production.
  • Carry out cleaning duties and maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all food safety, quality and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Carry out general Pack House duties as required.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in manual labour, production, packing or machine operation is desirable.
  • Own transport is required, as there is no regular public transport available in the area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Working Hours

This role operates Monday to Friday, with a 7:00am start time. Occasional weekend and bank holiday work may also be required.
